trace any image.

Privacy

Effective November 8, 2026. Wikivec Inc. operates Trace Any Image.

What we collect

Your sign-in details (email, and your name if you use Google), the images and addresses you send, the sites you scan or watch, the results, and how much you use. Without an account, the website's trace box keeps a keyed hash of your IP address for two days to limit free use; the address itself isn't stored.

How long we keep it

Uploaded images are deleted 24 hours after upload. Reports are kept for 30 days so you can share them; they show the addresses you gave and the links found, never an uploaded image. Anyone with a report's link can open it; the link can't be guessed, and reports are kept out of search engines. Search results for an image are cached for 7 days so tracing it again costs nothing. A watched site's list of known image addresses is kept while you watch it. Usage counts are kept for about a year.

Photos of people

When an image's subject is a face, we use Google's face detection only to notice that, and then don't list the pages the image appears on. We never identify people, compare faces, or keep any face data.

Emails

We may email you about your account: how to get started, when a trace fails, when your free images run out (sometimes with an offer for Pro), when they come back, and, for watched sites, when a new image may need a license. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Who processes it

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, show ads, use your images to train models, or identify people from their faces.

Your choices

You can disconnect the service from your assistant at any time. To delete your account and data, email privacy@wikivec.com. The service is only for people aged 18 and over.
